ORDERING POLICY

Andrea Gutierrez pieces are made to order and as such, take a bit more time on the jeweler’s bench. However, we strive to complete your order in as timely manner as possible.

After your payment has cleared and your order is completed at checkout you will receive an automated email of your invoice. If you are ordering from us for the first time, this email may be located in your SPAM/JUNK folder.

Please note that all items you see on our Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter are available for purchase. If you can’t find something on our website, please contact us at info@andreagutierrezjewelry.com

PAYMENT

We accept all major credit cards through our secure payment gateway. Custom orders are handled over the telephone or at our studio. You can call us directly, if interested in a custom order at 213-255-1338 or send us an email at info@andreagutierrezjewelry.com

All orders placed online that ship within California are subject to a 9.5% sales tax. This sales tax, if any, will be added to the cost of your order during checkout.

Refunds & Repairs

RETURNS

At Andrea Gutierrez Jewelry, we want you to be pleased with your purchase. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, you may return any unworn and undamaged item(s) within 7 days of receipt for a full credit card refund to the original cardholder, or merchandise credit. We process all returns on the same day that they are received and we will call or send an email confirmation once the refund is processed. Please keep in mind that depending on the cycle of your credit card it may take 2-10 days for the refund to post to your account.

Merchandise Credits issued will not include original shipping charges. Shipping charges for returns or exchanges are the responsibility of the purchaser. Sorry, no CODs will be accepted.

Merchandise must be accompanied by original packaging and receipt. All returns of merchandise require a Return Authorization. Please call us at 213-255-1338 to obtain a Return Authorization number before shipping your merchandise back.

Domestic & International

shipping

Since all our pieces are handmade to order, we ship 3-5 weeks from receipt of your order. All items are shipped FedEx 2-Day (Standard), and insured at their full value to protect your merchandise. We will notify you via email once your order has shipped. Please allow 5-7 days to receive. All orders require an adult signature. We cannot ship to P.O. boxes.

We are not responsible for international taxes and duties, that is the sole responsibility of the customer. In the event of a return or exchange, taxes, duties and shipping fees will not be refunded.

International orders are shipped insured via FedEx International or UPS depending upon the shipping restrictions for particular countries. Estimated shipping time is 5-10 business days + time spent clearing customs.

JEWELRY CARE

Our pieces are handmade with expert precision and exceptionally sturdy. However, jewelry should always be treated with care.

Pieces with stones should be protected from impact or bending, as stones are meticulously and precisely set, and may pop out of their settings are shifted in any way. Pieces with colored stones should be removed from the body when showering or swimming and should not be cleaned with an ultrasonic machine, as this may cause the stones to become brittle or crack.

Pearls are a delicate product of nature and need to be treated accordingly. Use care when applying perfume or hair spray, as these cosmetics will damage the surface of pearls. Try not to bathe or swim with your strung jewelry pieces and/or pearls, as this will cause the stringing materials to weaken.

Clean all pearls, gemstones  and vintage beads by gently wiping with a soft damp cloth.

RING SIZES & BRACELETS

All rings may be ordered in sizes 5, 5.5, 6, 6.5, 7 and 7.5 at the prices shown on the website. For smaller or larger sizes, please email us at info@andreagutierrezjewelry.com. To determine your ring size at home, take a strip of paper and wrap it around your finger. Mark where the ends meet, lay it flay and with a ruler, measure the distance between the two points.

Our bracelets are made to order at the standard bracelet size of 7.5, which is approximately a size “medium”. For smaller or larger sizes, please email us at info@andreagutierrezjewelry.com

To measure your bracelet size at home, take a strip of paper approximately the width of the bracelet you are measuring for, and wrap it around your wrist. Mark where the ends meet, lay it flay and with a ruler, measure the distance between the two points. This is the circumference of your wrist. It is always best to order a bracelet just at or slightly larger than this circumference.
